Lehre unter Strom

Digitale Perspektiven für Lehrende an Musikhochschulen

New potential and applications for digital media are often explored with enthusiastic approval and a certain joy of discovery. Digital tools have long since become indispensable at music colleges and are now part of everyday student life.

Amidst these processes of upheaval and change, the contributions presented here highlight current and future concepts for the interaction between humans and the digital sphere with regard to learning and teaching at music conservatories. In addition to the diverse potential offered by new software and hardware, the articles focus in particular on new models of knowledge and teaching, and in some cases express doubts about a straightforward belief in digital progress in a profession that, like no other, is characterized by shared presence.

With contributions from Dirk Weidmann, Diane Hunger, Florian Ludwig, Malte Sachsse, Tobias Rotsch, Malte Kob/Dustin Eddy/Kim Efert, Jörn Loviscach, Matthias Schröder, and Karolin Schmitt-Weidmann.
