Wolke Jahresposter 2025

The Wolke 2025 annual poster depicts reading as a moment of radical tranquility. Conceived and photographed analogously by Ellen Rosalie Arndton a Rollei 35 with Kodak Ektar 100 film, the motif shows actress Carolin Kogel in a transparent bathtub filled with fine cotton wool—a poetic image in which clouds themselves become bath foam.
The open book is one of our favorite titles: the ECM catalog Der blaue Klang (see ➚ here), lies like a small world in her hands: a symbol of how soothing our books can be.

With this poster, we are consciously continuing an old publishing tradition: designing annual motifs that visually capture the spirit of Wolke and accompany collectors for many years to come.

Printed in large DIN A0 format, strictly limited to 100 copies, hand-numbered, and produced in meticulous studio quality, this poster is a collectible item for lovers of photography, music books, and analog image aesthetics. A piece of tranquil clarity for any room.
