Agenda

Katja Kölle. Klangkunst | Sound Art

Since the end of the 1970s, Katja Kölle has consistently and independently pursued her artistic work, which is reflected today in an extraordinary oeuvre of great breadth. Works that not only appeal to the ears and eyes, but also involve the sense of smell, or play with the translation of sounds into colors and can be read both as images and musical compositions, are at the beginning. Large-format colorful mobiles and sound columns follow. Increasingly, she is also creating subtle audio miniatures and site-specific installations indoors and outdoors, which she conceives as multi-sensory spaces of experience or as spaces for reflection. The essays in this book deal with this particularity and diversity of her sound-artistic work.
